2026 President’s Message

On behalf of the Board and leadership of Sorrento Centre, I give thanks for another year of shared ministry, growth, and joyful service. Our camp continues to be a place where faith is nurtured, friendships are formed, and people encounter God in the beauty of creation.

Sorrento Centre is grounded in a tradition that values hospitality and service, and so we have aptly chosen Kindness as our theme for 2026. Though this year is just beginning, we have already seen those values lived out in powerful ways — through the dedication of our staff and volunteers, the generosity of our supporters, and the enthusiasm of our visitors who bring energy and hope to our community. Whether gathered in worship, around a campfire, in a class, or in quiet moments of reflection, we are reminded that God is present in all that we do.

We are deeply grateful to the many individuals, parishes, and partners who make this ministry possible. Your time, prayers, and financial support ensure that Sorrento Centre remains a safe, welcoming, and spiritually enriching place for all, regardless of background or circumstance.

As we look ahead, we do so with confidence and faith. There is important work still to be done, and exciting opportunities before us. Guided by God’s grace and strengthened by our community, we remain committed to nurturing faith, leadership, and a deep sense of belonging in for visitor who comes through our gates.

Thank you for being part of the Sorrento Centre family. May God continue to bless our Centre and all who serve and are served here.

Yours in Christ,

January 2026
