Of all the painting processes, watercolour painting is known for its inherent delicacy and beauty. This program is for anyone wanting to explore watercolour for the first time and perhaps for those looking for a brush-up (pun intended) on the basics. Together, we will review materials, explore techniques, study colour theory and the importance of values and then take what we’ve learned and create some art. If time allows, we may even give ‘plein air’ (painting from nature out-of-doors) a try.

Bring your watercolours and some paper if you have them. If you don’t, supplies will be available so you can decide if watercolour painting is for you before making the investment. Some supplies will be on hand for purchase.
