Creative Journaling: Slow down, you move too fast (Tuesdays)

Also offered on Thursday evenings…

Once again, John O’Donohue is influencing class content. I found a ‘new to me poem’ and it moved me to want to develop our next class around its important message. I hope it inspires you too! And I am so looking forward to reconnecting with you…it’s been too long! As you read it, imagine a deep Irish voice speaking to you.

You have traveled too fast over false ground; Now your soul has come to take you back. Take refuge in your senses, open up to all the small miracles you rushed through. Become inclined to watch the way of rain when it falls slow and free. Imitate the habit of twilight, taking time to open the well of colour that fostered the brightness of day. Draw alongside the silence of stone until its calmness can claim you. Be excessively gentle with yourself. John O’Donohue

I hope you’ll join us!

In Creative Journaling, a theme is presented and participants are invited to use words, imagery and a variety of mixed media techniques to unearth, explore and record their unique responses, thoughts and emotions. Participants are united in hope, support and camaraderie as they uncover their inherent creativity.  A safe and creative space is born where negativity is banished leaving only room for meaningful connection, self-expression and healing.
