Creative Journaling: What’s in a Word?
$400/week. Course fee $150 plus the $250 Activity fee
“Words are pale shadows of forgotten names. As names have power, words have power.Patrick Rothfuss
Words can light fires in minds. Words can wring tears from the hardest hearts.”
Our words are important. They are how we communicate with others and with ourselves. They form our narratives which become our lives. Let’s connect to some personal and powerful words and recognize those we’d be better off releasing.
In Creative Journaling, a theme is offered and participants use words, imagery and a variety of mixed media techniques to unearth, explore and record their unique responses, thoughts and emotions. Participants are united in hope, support and camaraderie as they return home to their inherent creativity. A safe and caring space is born where negativity is banished leaving only room for meaningful connection, self-expression and healing.
