Coming Home to the Heart – with Peter Elliott
To help us celebrate the joy of our 60th anniversary, join us any Wednesday night for intimate conversations on Coming Home to the Heart.
A major theme for our 60th anniversary is Homecoming which includes our transformational programming. Transformation is a process that involves looking more deeply than usual and connecting with our heart’s wisdom – the deeper meaning of Homecoming.
EVERYONE IS WELCOME! Speakers may touch on themes of the heart’s wisdom and beauty that is unique to each individual as well as intimacy and interconnection. Feel free to stay for outdoor evening service at 8:30 pm.
Peter Elliott is adjunct faculty at Vancouver School of Theology and a consultant. With his partner, Thomas Roach, they made new sense of ways of being in the world as they embraced their identities as gay men. Thomas is an artist working with textiles
Gather at St. Francis outdoor chapel, Sorrento Centre, 1159 Passchendaele Road. Bring a lawn chair! Park at Sorrento Memorial Hall near our Centre sign, and follow signs to outdoor chapel!
