- Jordan Haynie Ware
The Ven. Jordan Haynie Ware serves as Archdeacon for Social Justice and Community Connection for the Anglican Diocese of Edmonton, where she is also the rector of Good Shepherd Anglican Church. She is the author The Ultimate Quest: A Geek’s Guide to (the Episcopal) Church, and co-host of the Two Feminists series of podcasts – not only do they annotate the Bible, but also take inspiration from women in Christian history with Two Feminists Annotate the Beatified. Jordan is originally from Texas, as you’ll be able to tell by the many “y’alls” and “fixin’ tos” peppering her speech and her love of spicy food, and she lives in Edmonton with her husband, an Education Specialist at the Telus World of Science, and their enormous greyhound.

To help us celebrate the joy of our 60th anniversary, join us any Wednesday night for intimate conversations on Coming Home to the Heart. A major theme for our 60th anniversary is Homecoming which includes our transformational programming. Transformation is a process that involves looking more deeply than usual and connecting with our heart’s wisdom – the deeper meaning of Homecoming.
EVERYONE IS WELCOME! Speakers may touch on themes of the heart’s wisdom and beauty that is unique to each individual as well as intimacy and interconnection. Feel free to stay for outdoor evening service at 8:30 pm.

Gather at St. Francis outdoor chapel, Sorrento Centre, 1159 Passchendaele Road. Bring a lawn chair! Park at Sorrento Memorial Hall near our Centre sign, and follow signs to outdoor chapel!
