Pilgrimage for Spiritually Curious
Join us for a pilgrimage that leads us through a selection of spiritual practices that have meaningfully deepened our relationship with the Divine. This program is for you if you are feeling stuck or curious about different ways to feel God’s presence. We will explore traditional and contemporary practices used by both Christian and Sufi mystics and contemplatives.
Together we will learn about specific techniques that can be incorporated in our spiritual life. These will include: centering prayer, silence, breath practices, chanting and zikr, Sufi whirling-turning prayer, praying the psalms, traditional Christian circle dance, Lectio Divina, and other practices.
Our approach will be experiential. We will set an intention, provide brief instructions and guidance about the practice, share in an experience, and take time to journal and reflect together.
SUPPLY LIST FOR PARTICIPANTS Comfortable clothing, extra/thick socks or smooth soled slippers for turning, journals, water bottles, any preferred writing/ art supplies for journaling. Hand drums, meditation benches or cushion optional.
