In our commercial kitchen, Food Services Manager Karrie and her team of Lori and Jesse, work seven days a week to prepare for people who are hungry in our region, as we have done every day of the week, month and year. Each morning, a small crew of drivers take turns making the daily delivery. In the midst of the pandemic, people in our region need and deserve a good meal.
Our staff have delivered more than 30,000 tasty and nutritious meals in 2022. On Christmas Eve, we sent enough freshly cooked turkey to add to meals prepared and distributed by service clubs and faith communities – enough to fill the bellies of 600 people to our neighbours.
