The Sorrento Centre’s online Art Auction, featuring many beautiful offerings from artists, quilters, and other craftspeople, is scheduled to close at noon on Friday, November 10.
“Our bidders are recognizing the value of these unique items,” said Kathie MacDuff, Associate Director, “and perhaps some also realize that this is a wonderful way to support the Centre.”

Kathie went on to say how pleased she was with the response to this new initiative. “We were very fortunate to have received twenty-seven amazing items valued at approximately $7000 total. Bidding stands at over $3200. Initially, we thought if we reached $4000, the venture would be stamped a success. I am confident we’ll surpass that goal!”
MacDuff expressed gratitude for everyone’s participation: the folks who donated and the people who placed bids. “I’d especially like to thank my co-workers, Tammy Gibbs, and Stacie Anderson, who worked together to get everything photographed, up, and running!”
