Major software glitch

We apologize for a major glitch in our donor management software. Earlier today, tax receipts were emailed to our many generous supporters. Unfortunately, it appears that the receipts were blank even though our software was supposed to automatically fill in the blanks. This major problem affects us, and also appears to affect other users of what is one of the most widely used donor software.

We are sorry for the inconvenience. We hope to have a work-around from our software provider very soon. If the software glitch cannot be fixed, then we’ll go old-school and manually prepare each receipt and mail them out.

Of course, this never happened in the good old days when we had a bunch of monks in a scriptorium in the basement of Spes Bona who wrote out all the receipts with quill pens. Then, we used donkeys to deliver the parchment receipts!

Thanks to everyone for their patience as the problem is sorted. In the meantime, here is a picture from the beautiful St Francis Chapel on our main campus taken a few days ago.
