As you know we are exploring farm-to-table possibilities and have been experimenting in our greenhouse this winter. There are peas, tomatoes and lettuce growing under special lamps with a water barrel heater. The first harvest is expected in March – as we welcome our late-winter guests..
Here is an update from Farmer Angelo…”As this is a first for growing in a winterized greenhouse I’m as happy as I could be with how things have turned out. The crops we planted were a trial to see what would work well. Everything we planted is healthy. Of course with time and trying a few different things next season we can refine what does best and makes the most sense to grow.”
