Get to know the people of Sorrento Centre

You may have already met Tammy as guest relations here at Sorrento Centre, with her warm smile and cheerful, lively personality. Organized and forward thinking, Tammy’s passion is teaching and youth leadership.

Over the years, she has accompanied youth on international missions trips connecting with youth at a camp at the foot of the Carpathian Mountains and worked with underprivileged kids in Ukraine and Mexico. She has taught at Northern Lights College, volunteered as a Sunday school teacher to children and adults, and supported young people as a youth sponsor. Most recently, Tammy spent six years teaching EFL to middle school and high school students in China.

Tammy is excited to bring fun and inspirational ideas to Sorrento Centre’s child and youth programs, while also looking forward to bringing her passions and skills in planning and leadership to the young people we support.
