Get to know the people of Sorrento Centre

Born in Denmark in a bicultural home, I immigrated to Canada as a teenager.  Two decades in private practice as a clinical psychologist provided a deep understanding of human nature, neuroplasticity, and how to tailor group programming to strengths as well as needs.

I am a long-time meditator who is passionate about contemplative practice promoting wisdom and compassion.  I hold strong beliefs in multi faith tolerance and unity stemming from training in Sichuan province to become a lay person Lineage Holder in a Buddhist tradition.

I was drawn to Sorrento Centre’s culture of kindness and desire for diverse programming that builds local relationships.  You are warmly invited to stop by my office to say hello and share your longings for the centre’s future.
