Thank you, Dean Ken Gray

Planting a tree on our campus in your honour

Ken Gray is a good friend, a valued teacher and a long-time associate of the Sorrento Centre… and we planted a Japanese red maple tree in our Memorial Garden on May 2, 2021 as a tribute and a thank you to Ken as he retires from his post as Dean of St Paul’s Cathedral in Kamloops (just down the highway from the Sorrento Centre).

The tree is a gift from St Paul’s to Ken – and we are delighted to be able to nurture it. Ken, who is a committed environmentalist among his many gifts, has taught us that a mighty tree grows from a small sapling.
