Our Anglican traditions

Sorrento Retreat and Conference Centre is a gathering place for all… a place of nourishment, abundance, and belonging…

Join us every Sunday at 10AM, as we gather in worship every Sunday at 10AM, in the historic St Mary’s Church right across the highway.
For our Sunday worship, we draw on resources from both the United Church and Anglican Church traditions, as well as other approved resources.

Founded in 1963 by visionaries within the Anglican Church of Canada, the Sorrento Retreat and Conference Centre has grown over the years from its beginnings as a lay ministry training centre to its current role as a gathering place for all.

Situated on a beautiful historic 24-acre main campus, with a private waterfront on the Shuswap, hiking trails and nearby biking routes, Sorrento Retreat and Conference Centre has evolved into a values-based retreat and conference centre, welcoming small groups and individual guests for courses and retreats throughout the year.

We are proud of our Anglican traditions. Ecumenical and interfaith in expression, offering warm and inclusive welcome, and generous hospitality to all.
