Welcome Home, Kathie MacDuff!

Kathie MacDuff, our new Associate Director, is a long-time friend of our beloved Centre.

She has delivered creative journaling and other arts-based and healing courses at the Sorrento Centre and elsewhere; and has served on our Board including the role of President. Kathie will serve as a vital member of the senior staff team, with a focus on supporting our growing number of events, activities and programs as we move into our 60th year in 2023.

Kathie brings energy, enthusiasm, experience and a strong commitment to the values that guide our Centre. As a non-profit retreat and conference centre that aspires to generous hospitality and service to our community, the Sorrento Centre has come through the challenges of recent years – including the global pandemic as well as climate crises – with a renewed sense of the deep value of the diversity of events and activities that we offer and host on our main campus.
