The Shuswap Community Response Network is hosting the 4th Annual Summer Picnic at Sorrento Retreat and Conference Centre! Join us to celebrate and support our cherished seniors.

The Seniors Summer Picnic is a delightful event designed to bring joy and camaraderie to our cherished senior community members, family, friends, and the organizations who support our seniors.

Scheduled for a sunny afternoon, this gathering promises a perfect blend of relaxation and engagement. Attendees will enjoy a delicious free lunch. Beyond the meal, live music will be provided by the Shuswap Singers! There is luscious grass for you to dance on if you choose to! The Blind Bay Painters will create enchanting works of art right before your eyes! An Indigenous Story-Teller will be here to share historical, cultural, and spiritual knowledge. There will be gentle lawn games to keep you active if you choose to be. The Chase RCMP will be facilitating a Frauds & Scam Workshop, and many organizations are coming to offer information on the support and assistance available to seniors.
